One of Vega’s most significant accomplishments to date is his first film, “The Hurt We Share”, won over 12 awards internationally before being purchased for distribution by Dame Dash Studios and Homestead Entertainment. This accomplishment is a testament to Vega’s creative vision and storytelling ability. Since, Vega has been hired to write, direct, or produce over 25 films, shows, commercials, and concepts. His creative outlook and problem-solving skills have set him far apart from his peers. He is a completionist and refuses to allow himself to start something and not finish it.
In addition to his impressive film career, Vega has been slowly growing the Latino Film Club since its soft launch last fall. This growing resource for Latino filmmakers, like himself, provides an opportunity to get their foot in the door and showcase their talent. Vega understands the importance of representation in the film industry and is committed to paving the way for other Latino filmmakers.
